Biting my lip & other symptoms

I just woke up from a nap. Noticed when I was laying down that I'm starting to bite my lip at random times. It hurts. I'm thinking I may need a mouth piece to protect myself when I lay down.
Also, weakness in right arm, leg and foot are starting to affect daily activities. Just typing this out with right hand, the arm is already tired.

  1. Be careful about blaming everything on als Barry. What often happens is that after a person is diagnosed with a particular disease, sometimes what goes on is what could be called the name and blame game.

Everything that goes wrong after that gets blamed on the disease.

If the person falls, als did it. If the person weeps, als did it. If the person is biting his lip, als did it.

The person feel powerless and attacked from all angles.

So regarding biting your lip, what if you hadn't been diagnosed with als? What would you do then? Maybe you would just think it was stress or just a bad habit. Then you would just work on relaxing or on doing something to change the habit.

Stay empowered Barry. Don't fall into the trap of blaming everything on als.
