Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I'm doing pretty good on the Candida front, just a bit of itching from time to time (I had 2 oreo cookies yesterday afternoon, that probably caused a lot of the itching I was feeling last night). But generally, I've been pretty good on that front.
On April 28th, I took a hard fall on my back while ice skating. I'm taking beginning ice skating lessons, while my 2 youngest daughters Sarahlynn (5) and Lillian (8) are taking their lessons. Anyway, during the general session, somehow I lost balance and took a direct hit on the back, left side. I lost all the wind out of me, and could hardly breath for a few minutes, and had to be helped off the ice. I went in for x-rays, and they came back negative.
I guess I've just got some bruised ribs. I've been on pain meds (down to once every 12 hours or so now), including codeine, tylenol & ibuprofin (all prescription strength). I'm back to doing some walking now, and even got back on the ice for a total of 105 minutes (including my 1/2 hour lesson) this past Saturday (May 5th). But it still hurts quite a bit as the pain meds wear off.
On the Candida front again, I'm taking a total of 6 probiotic capsules, 6 blue/green algae capsules, and 4 Enzyme capsuls each day (split between the morning and evening). As long as I stay away from the processed foods and sugars, this combination seems to be going fairly well. See the following for the exact products:

I've also been drinking a mixture of Super Seed and Go Green, but not every day. I've had it as a breakfast drink if I'm in a hurry, and for a few days a couple of weeks ago, I had this mixture for almost all my meals as I was doing a radical cleanse after having a lot of itching problems. The 2 items are:

I've also used the Vitamix to make up my own concoction, basically of lettuce, carrots, some fruit such as banana, granny smith apple, and fresh strawberries. When I use all those ingredients, I do get a bit of a reaction, but when I just use apples, lettuce, carrots & strawberries, it's much better.
I'm keeping up with my drinking lots of water on a regular basis, and drinking a hot mixture of lemon juice, water & stevia. I did have some unsweetened cranberry/pomegranite juice for a while that I was mixing with this also, as it's very good for the liver.
Exercise-wise, I've been walking as much as I can pretty much daily, even with the rib soreness. I did take a big break during the week of the Virginia Tech massacre, as I got terribly depressed over the whole thing, and watched too much news and online stories. My heart was very heavy during that time for the victims. Now I'm back to normal, listening to the Word pretty much every day (I'm in Nehemiah now), and getting some sort of exercise nearly every day. I'm going to wait until my ribs feel better before getting on my bike again, however.
We're planning on going to a new trail on Mothers Day on Sunday, it's about 2 1/2 miles, and the girls can take their bikes. http://www.co.pierce.wa.us/pc/abtus/ourorg/ccp/2trails.htm
I'm looking forward to trying this trail out. The hills may be a bit much for the girls on their bikes, but we'll have to wait & see. Sarahlynn is now riding on 2 wheels, and Lillian (Grace) also learned how to ride on 2 wheels without training wheels about 3 weeks before we got Sarahlynn on 2 wheels, so we no longer have anyone in the family on training wheels (YEA)!!!
I'm going to try a new product later this month, called Stem Plex. I have talked to my brother Rohry about having Joy try it (she's paralyzed below the sternum) also. I hope that it will help me feel younger, and also help in my ribs healing. http://www.simplexityhealth.com/products/specsheets/stemplex_spec.html
It's quite pricy, but is on "sale" for 10% less this month. I don't need any Go Green or Enzymes this month, so that brings my total cost down a bit for my monthly supplement order.
Anyhow, I've rambled quite a bit, so I'll sign off now. Hope you were able to read and get some good information. Take care, and God Bless,
Barry
