Last Friday I changed my work schedule back to 8:00am to 4:30pm, which is a "normal" work schedule. In my line of work, "normal" schedule hardly ever happens, as I work quite a few evenings and weekends, when the customers that I support can have their servers worked on when an outage is required.
Anyhow, getting up at 6am this morning, I was pretty cranky by 2:30 this afternoon. I have been working on one issue at work that has been going on for over a month, and the right solution still hasn't been found. I've also become very itchy almost every evening as I drift off to sleep, and in the morning. I'm still taking quite a few supplements, but I've cheated on my diet at least once a day, and this is taking it's toll.
Spirtually, I' m fitting in my Bible reading every day by listening to Max McClean's mp3's of the Bible on my new cheap $25 mp3 player I picked up for $25 plus shipping from http://tigerdirect.com. I usually don't buy any tech gadgets unless I can get a good deal on them.
Anyhow, I'm thanking God for keeping me at least mostly alert most days, and giving me the energy to do exercise (at least walking) nearly every day. I've recently purchased a Pedometer, and put in at least 6000 steps a day. I put in 2 10000 plus step days over the weekend (Friday & Saturday), even without going Ice Skating.
I'm getting over a bad chest cold, which turned into a head cold, that started up about 3 weeks ago. I wasn't tempted to go on any antibiotics, that would have just made my whole system even worse. My Naturopath, Dr. Young, prescribed some additional multivitamins & Coloidial Silver for my throat, as a gargle. The Coloidial Silver as well as Throat Coat tea seemed to have worked the trick, but since I already have a whole food multivitamin, I don't use the one I bought from my naturopath that much unless I'm feeling like I need to.
I take 2 multis a day, maybe 4 if I think I need more, a 1000mg C, 1 Cod Liver oil, A calcium tablet after my morning meal.
Twice a day - first thing in the morning & before bed:
2 probiotics, another 2 probiotics, 2 blue-green algae capsules, 2 Enzymes.
Anyhow, I don't want to bore you too much with what I'm taking. Obviously I need to tighten a bit up on my diet again, as I've gotten away from posting in my spreadsheet what I eat & it's reaction each day, and my supplements. I just feel real busy, and at one point I felt good enough to not enter these daily entries. But like a good accountant, I suppose I will need to do this once again so I can get this old body back on track.
A word of encouragement came to me as I was listening to 1 Samueul earlier today, I listened a week ago or so, but am going back over Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel to get more insight now.
1 Samuel 30:6 (New International Version)
6 David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.
